ELEMENT 3—5 had a very successful appearance at the NRW Nano Conference on 23 and 24 May 2023 in Dortmund. We were extremely pleased that NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur was our guest at the NRW Nano Conference. During her visit to our booth, the minister was very interested in both the technology and ELEMENT 3—5 GmbH. As a young company pursuing an ambitious growth plan, we are an interesting partner with regard to the desired structural change in the region of the Rhenish mining area. The minister also found words of appreciation for our "green footprint". With our technology, we save 90% energy and gas compared to the conventional production of compound semiconductors and also do not use the toxic gas ammonia. The savings effect at the product level is even greater: The components manufactured on the basis of the compound semiconductors are significantly more energy-efficient than conventional silicon-based solutions. And with the cost advantage of the ELEMENT 3—5 technology, they can now also be used in mass markets – a significant gain for our environment.
Beyond that, the participation in the conference was also a complete success. Numerous interesting discussions and contacts have emerged during the two days, on which further business relationships and development cooperations can be established.
