Driven by a high demand for semiconductors, our goal is to research new material systems in the field of wide-bandgap semiconductors and to implement them as quickly as possible for industrial use. The basis is our novel epitaxy process, which reduces the process temperature from over 1000 °C to 300 °C compared to conventional deposition methods and thus enables the coating of temperature-sensitive substrates or the realization of completely new material combinations. Research on these topics essentially determines the growth story of ELEMENT 3-5 GmbH. Successful research thus not only contributes to the profitability of our company in the short term, but also defines the product portfolio and the appearance of our company in the long term.
In the position of "technician", you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the epitaxy systems in our R&D laboratory. Your job profile combines the planning, execution of maintenance work as well as the conversion and qualification of the systems. In addition, your expertise in creating statistics, error analysis and monitoring maintenance plans is an enrichment.
Another aspect of your job profile is the assembly of epitaxy systems. Together with experienced colleagues you will set-up the latest generation of our semiconductor manufacturing systems and provide feedback to the colleagues from the development department with respect to optimization potential.
— Assembly of epitaxy systems as well as supervision and support for the R&D laboratory of our systems
— Independent planning and execution of the maintenance plans in compliance with the agreed time frames
— Implementation of the planned test series for hardware and process developments
— Proper documentation of the measurement results and illustration of the evaluation
— Creation of work instructions for maintenance plans
— Perform characterization and measurement of sample materials
You are best equipped for the tasks if you have:
— A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer sciences; qualification as technician, mechatronics engineer or comparable
— Knowledge in the field of semiconductor technology is an advantage
— Knowledge of mechanical/electrical processes as well as circuit and control technology and their software environment
— Strong team and communication skills
